Must go to a loving secure home with no other pets, a private garden and preferably people around most of the day to keep him company. Ideally his new owners will be experienced with chihuahuas (or willing to learn).
I'm sadly rehoming my dog for health reasons (mine not his). He's an 8 year-old chihuahua, in good health. He is a rescue dog, I've had him 5 years and done lots of training and rehabilitative work with him, however it's in his nature to be hypervigilant and fear-aggressive with other dogs - he's improved a lot but there's still work to do. He's had some success walking with and becoming friendlier with a couple of dogs, but often when sharing an indoor space with them he can be quite a bully, hence needing to be the only pet.
He loves lap time, pats, playing tug of war, his heated bed, being snuggled under blankets, and walks (until they become too stressful due to seeing other dogs!). I like to joke that he's Rudi by name and rud(ie) by nature as he can be pretty strong-willed and obstinate at times. He's a sweetheart though.
He likes children and seems to be quite good with them, though of course this should always be supervised.
